In my personal practice,I am interested in site specific interventions and creating work that members of the public come across and respond to in the context of everyday life.
My recent work has focussed on reinterpreting used personal objects such as handbags, which audiences can physically explore, revealing smaller artworks, which give a new perspective on both object and site.
I am particularly interested in the experience of the audience. Through making artworks that are interactive and ‘touchable’, based on discovery and revelation, I hope that the experience will resonate long after the artwork has been left behind.
